What is refundable, and why escrow exists.
Escrow is the whole answer to this page. Your payment sits in your wallet and is not released to the Guide until the session is complete and the dispute window has passed, which is what makes a refund for a genuine issue possible rather than a negotiation.
The wallet
- Top up any amount. There is no minimum spend and no package to commit to.
- The balance carries forward and never expires.
- It is refundable to your original payment method at any time.
What counts as a genuine issue
These are refundable, and reporting one stops the funds leaving escrow.
- Bad audio or a connection that made the session unusable.
- A no-show.
- A session cut short.
- An answer that turns out to be off-topic for what you asked.
What is not a refund case
Advice you did not like is not the same as advice you did not get. A Guide who answered the question you asked, from the experience their profile claims, has done the thing you paid for even when the answer is not the one you wanted. Rate the session honestly instead: ratings are tied to a paid, completed session and are the mechanism that works here.
Cancelling a scheduled session
Scheduled sessions are booked ahead at a fixed price, so both sides have committed time. The cancellation window, and what happens either side of it, is the part that needs drafting.

Payouts on the Guide side
Withdrawable within 48 hours of a completed session, from ₹100 up, to UPI or a bank account. Nothing is deducted before a session happens.
Dispute window length, chargebacks and the refund timeline
